I can understand how this comparison might be harder to get, I myself don't really remember how closely his strong game at tOSU resembles the NBA role player he has become. But I'm a huge Blazer maniac, & at our game last night it dawned on me that Evan Turner is a pro version of Nigel's potential at the next level. Not a knock at all. Blazers are young & ET is still learning to play in our system, but I love his game. Really smart player who plays point-forward for us, exceptional court vision & passing. He had 11 assists last night. Can't really hit 3's but solid mid-range & can take it to the lane & maneuver with spin moves etc to score in close. On D he's strong & versatile, able to cover guards or forwards & excellent playing through pick & roles. Anyone familiar with him now agree?
