BTN has brought this up on BTN live. After the Indiana game when the teams were shaking hands, Hayes is caught on film saying "no one on your team can guard me." A couple Indiana players look back at him with a little anger in their stare... I like confidence... my wife said that Nigel sounds cocky and shouldnt have said that. I told her, players have been saying things like that since the beginning of time...
Also when being interviewed he was saying that he feels every time he steps on the court he is the best player...
Nigels success of late has a lot to do with guard putting him in a position to get to the basket or get fouled... he is very good, but didnt do much early when shooting from the outside too much..
Possibly not the best time to talk trash during the hand shakes... maybe during the game would have been better...
IF we play indiana again in the big ten tourney it could be fuel....
