Re watched the game paying particular attention to the right side of the line. My primary focus was on Edwards, Maxell, Dietzen, and Beau. My observations against a pretty strong Iowa DL:
Rams-didnt watch carefully. Solid.
Deiter-Started at left guard and played center. solid.
Dietzen- rotated in at left guard with Deiter at center. Very stout versus pressure, wall like. Strong.
Conner-trouble making push early.
Beau-trouble making push and defending rush.
Maxwell- ok in run game, had difficulty with outside rush.
Edwards- fast to second level. Suprised he has good pad level. Handled outside rush well. Difficulty with bull rush. Needs to keep his feet moving. Athletic but needs more strength.
Kapoi-solid.
Right now the best lineup is Rams-Deitzen-Deiter-Kapoi-Edwards.
