I have been following baseball closely since the late 1950's.

Got to see the end of Ted Williams, Stan Musial's careers, Mantle, Mays, Aaron & Clemente in their primes, Bench, Ken Griffey jr, who I put in their class (assuming he didn't take steroids) and everybody else in between who was great but I've never, ever seen anything like what is going with this kid Gary Sanchez and his crazy start to his career.

It's unbelievable, kid hits a HR seemingly every game, He's played in 20 games, has 10 HR's, 20 RBI'S and is hitting .403, was walked intentionally twice in one game.

I knew about him since he was signed as 16 year old and everyone knew he had power and could hit but he calls a great game too, frames the pitches and seems to make amazing Pudge Rodriguez throws every game. He's been throwing out runners at a great rate and Yankee pitchers are terrible at holding on runners.

He was the youngest guy in most of his minor league stops, always hit but always was considered almost bored and possibly too big to remain at catcher but right now he looks like a sure fire ALL-Star/HOF'er at the position, kid is amazing.
I've never seen anything like this, hits like he's Babe Ruth playing in the minor leagues.
Even Mantle and Mays struggled when they first came up, had doubts, this kid seems to have been saving himself for the majors.
I guess Yankees should bench him now, he's hitting .403, he can only get much worse! LOL
