A franchise that seemed doomed for many years to come, suddenly has one of the best starting pitching staffs EVER and they're all still kids.
1.The "Dark Knight" Matt Harvey was the 7th pick of the 2010 draft.
2. "Thor:" AKA Noah Syndergard was the 38th pick of the 2010 draft by Toronto acquired by trade
3.Jacob Degrom: was the 272 pick of the 2010 draft, a converted infielder.
4.David Matz was the 72nd pick of the 2009 draft
5.Zack Wheeler ( successful TJ surgery early this season) was the 6th pick of the 2009 draft by Giants acquired by trade.
That staff along with some other still cooking in the minors should make this team competitive, possibly overwhelming for the next 5 years at least, until it becomes too expensive to keep them all.
