Man would I be pissed if I were Sheldon Jeter, the kid that we recruited that just played fairly well against us in the first round. After playing for Kevin Stallings at Vandy for a year, he decided to transfer and apparently picked Pitt to be closer to home. But in a total dickhead move, Stallings blocked Pitt, only Pitt, so that Jeter couldn't transfer there with a scholarship. Instead, he had to attend some small college in Florida where he could only practice for a year, before moving on to Pitt. Jeter even appealed Stallings' blockage of Pitt to Vandy, but the school upheld it.
Of course a few days ago Pitt announced Stallings as its new HC. What an awful decision. The guy has a reputation for being a total a-hole, and the players apparently can't stand him, year after year. Source is Bill King on siriusxm, who is based in Nasville.
