I think Peavy has been passed on the depth chart. 3 games may still be a small sample, but I could see that Hornibrook is targeting other players as the primary reads. Fumagalli will get his but Cephus and DDIII are slowly becoming the go to wide receivers in the offense.
I think Peavy has been a good contributor the last 2 years but he has pretty average speed for a receiver, a bit slight in stature and is just okay catching the ball in traffic. He was the leading receiver last year but it seems we have better players now taking over. DDIII has better speed and Cephus seems more sure handed.
Peavy still has an important role to play on the team but I don't see him as the leading receiver this year.
