TEAM NOTES

 Today's captains: The Badgers' senior class. Season captains OLB Vince Biegel and RB Dare Ogunbowale represented the class for the opening coin toss.

 Today's attendance at Camp Randall Stadium: 77,216.

 Wisconsin has won the Big Ten West Division for the second time in the first three years of the league's current divisional alignment.

 The Badgers will make their fourth appearance in the Big Ten Football Championship Game, the most of any team in the game's six-year history.

 Wisconsin and Alabama are the only Power Five programs to advance to their conference title games four times since 2011.

 At 10-2, Wisconsin has its sixth 10-win season in the last eight years. The Badgers had five 10-win seasons in the program's first 119 years.

 Wisconsin is 17-3 in its last 20 games, dating back to last season.

 The Badgers have won 80 games since the start of the 2009 season (80-26, .756). UW joins Alabama (98 wins), Ohio State (90), Oregon (83), Florida State (82), Stanford (82) and Clemson (80) as the only Power Five programs to average 10 wins over the last eight seasons.

 The Badgers own a 15-3 mark against the Big Ten West Division since the league moved to its current divisional setup in 2014.

 Since the start of the 2006 season, Wisconsin is 34-7 (.829) in the month of November.

 Wisconsin defeated Minnesota for the 13th consecutive season, extending the longest win streak by either team in a series that dates back to 1890. The 13-game streak also matches the longest win streak against a Big Ten opponent in UW history: the Badgers won 13 straight over Northwestern from 1972-84.

 The all-time series between Wisconsin and Minnesota is now tied at 59-59-8, the first deadlock since it was even at 6-6 in 1901. The Badgers have never led the series.

 UW has won 11 straight meetings over Minnesota at Camp Randall Stadium. The Gophers' last win in Madison came in 1994.

 Overall, the Badgers have won 14 of their last 15 trophy games against rivals Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska, dating back to the 2010 season.

 Wisconsin faced its largest deficit of the season when Minnesota took a 17-7 lead with 0:53 remaining in the second quarter. The Badgers had not trailed by double digits since their 2015 season opener vs. Alabama, a span of 23 games.

 UW recorded a fourth-quarter comeback for the third time this season and the fifth time in two seasons under Paul Chryst. Trailing 17-10, the Badgers overcame their largest fourth quarter deficit since erasing a 24-17 deficit to beating Minnesota, 35-32, in 2008.

 Wisconsin rushed for 210 yards vs. Minnesota. The Badgers topped the 200-yard mark on the ground just once in their first 5 games, but have now done so in 5 of the last 7.

 The Badgers held Minnesota to 286 total yards, including just 13 rushing yards in the second half. UW has held 6 opponents under 300 totals yards this season.

 For the second time in the last 3 games, Wisconsin intercepted 4 passes. The Badgers have recorded 11 interceptions over the last 3 games and 21 on the season, the school's most since nabbing 22 INTs in 2002.

 UW held Minnesota to 3-for-14 (21.4%) on third down. The Badgers entered the game ranked 3rd in the nation allowing just 27.1% conversion rate.
