·Wisconsin has now recorded double-digit win totals in 9 of the last 13 seasons, dating back to 2005. The Badgers recorded just 3 double-digit win seasons in the 115 years prior to 2005 — their Big Ten championship seasons of 1993, 1998 and 1999.

·The Badgers have won 11 straight games, dating back to their victory in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 2, the second-longest active win streak of any FBS team behind only Miami (Fla.) (13 entering Saturday).

·UW improved to 31-6 (.838) overall under third-year head coach Paul Chryst.

·With records of 10-3, 11-3 and 10-0 in his first 3 seasons at the helm of his alma mater, Chryst joined Michigan’s Fielding Yost (1901-03) and Ohio State’s Urban Meyer (2012-14) as the only coaches in league history to win 10-plus games in each of their first 3 seasons.

·Wisconsin is 41-9 (.820) in its 50 games since the start of the 2014 season, trailing only Alabama (49-4, .925 entering Saturday), Clemson (45-6, .882 entering Saturday) and Ohio State (44-6, .880) in wins and winning percentage among FBS programs in that span.

·Wisconsin won its 13th-consecutive Big Ten game, extending the longest conference win streak in school history. The Badgers previously won 9 straight league games across the 2006 and 2007 seasons and the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

·The Badgers are 33-7 (.825) in conference play over the last 5 seasons (2013-17). Only Ohio State (37-3, .925) has a better league record over that span.

·Wisconsin lifted its all-time Big Ten record to 371-370-41 (.501), moving above .500 for the first time in 50 years, since they were 171-170-34entering a game at Indiana on Nov. 4, 1967.

·UW owns a 20-3 mark against the Big Ten West Division since the league moved to its current divisional setup in 2014. The Badgers have won 3 of the first 4 West Division crowns (2014, 2016, 2017).

·In securing the Heartland Trophy for the second-consecutive season, the Badgers have now won 16 of their last 17 trophy games against rivals Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska, dating back to 2010.

·Wisconsin has won 5 of its last 6 meetings with Iowa.

·Over the last 4 seasons, the Badgers are 17-2 in the month of November.

·UW’s 24-point win is the largest margin of victory over Iowa since a 41-3 win in 1999.

·Wisconsin surrendered just 66 total yards to Iowa, the fewest yards ever allowed to a Big Ten opponent and the second-lowest opponent yardage total in UW history (Temple had 45 in 2005). The previous low yardage total by a Big Ten foe was 78 yards by Illinois in Oct. 8, 1977.

·Iowa’s 66 yards of total offense vs. UW matches the fewest accumulated by a Big Ten team this season. Ohio State also held Maryland to 66 yards on Oct. 7.

·The Hawkeyes’ 66 yards of offense were the 3rd-fewest by any FBS team ranked in the AP Top 25 over the last 20 seasons.

·The Badgers allowed just 5 first downs, their fewest since Temple managed 5 first downs in 2005. It’s the fewest UW allowed to a Big Ten team since at least 1998.

·Iowa was 0-for-13 on third down. The last time UW didn’t allow a third-down conversion came just last season when Illinois was 0-for-9 on Nov. 12, 2016.

·UW held the Hawkeyes to just 25 yards rushing, its fewest allowed to a Big Ten opponent since Penn State managed 23 yards in 2001.

·Iowa’s 41 yards passing is the lowest mark by a Badgers opponent since Western Kentucky accumulated 28 yards passing in 2001.

·Including holding Iowa without a score in 2 such situations Saturday, UW’s defense has taken over in “sudden change” situations 17 times this season (following 9 interceptions, 7 fumbles and a blocked punt) and has allowed opponents to convert just 6 of those 17 opportunities into scores — 3 TDs and 3 FGs.

·Leon Jacobs’ 21-yard fumble recovery touchdown in the third quarter marked the Badgers’ fifth defensive TD of the season.

·Redshirt freshman WR Kendric Pryor and Jacobs became the 16th and 17th players to score touchdowns for Wisconsin this season.
