·The Badgers won their 20th consecutive regular-season game, dating back to 2016.

·UW improved to 36-7 (.837) overall under fourth-year head coach Paul Chryst.

·Wisconsin is 47-10 (.825) since the start of the 2014 season, trailing only Alabama (54-5, .915), Ohio State (50-6, .893) and Clemson (51-7, .879) in wins and winning percentage among FBS programs in that span.

·Wisconsin won its 41st consecutive non-conference game at home, the fifth-longest streak by an FBS team in the modern era (since 1946). UW’s last non-conference loss at Camp Randall came on Sept. 13, 2003.

·The Badgers improved to 2-0 at home for the 14th consecutive season.

·Wisconsin’s defense held strong in a “sudden change” situation in the third quarter, halting a New Mexico drive that began at the UW 24 following an interception. The Badgers have surrendered 0 points on 2 opponent drives resulting from turnovers this season. Dating back to the start of the 2017 season, the Badgers have allowed points on just 7 of 21 “sudden change” possessions (following 11 INTs, 9 fumbles and 1 blocked punt).

·The Badgers racked up 568 yards of total offense, the team’s most since totaling 586 yards against Akron on Sept. 10, 2016.

·UW racked up 417 rushing yards on the day, the most since running for 581 yards against Nebraska on Nov. 15, 2014.

·Wisconsin held New Mexico to 77 yards rushing. Dating back to the start of last season (16 games), the Badgers have given up 100 total rushing yards just 7 times.

·After watching New Mexico go 4-for-4 on third-down its opening drive, the UW defense limited to just 2-for-9 on third down over the remaining 10 possessions.
