The Badgers won their home opener for the 22nd time in the last 23 seasons.
Gard improved his record to 102-57 (.642) overall, including a mark of 61-15 (.803) at the Kohl Center.
Wisconsin improved to 313-52 (.858) all-time at the Kohl Center, the 9th-highest percentage among NCAA Division I venues.
Dating back to last season, Wisconsin has won 9 straight games. The Badgers' current win streak is tied for the 7th-longest active streak in Division I and tied for the 2nd-longest among major conference teams:

Senior F Nate Reuvers finished with a game- high 18 points (2-3 3FGs), 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Reuvers scored in double figures for the 41st time in his career.
Wednesday marked the 6th time in Reuvers' career that he tallied at least 5 blocks in a game.
With 5 blocks, Reuvers moved into 3rd place on Wisconsin's career blocks list and now trails only Ethan Happ (154) and Frank Kaminsky (153).
