Pucky finished #17 in the final USCHO poll....20-15-1 with one of the youngest rosters in the country (if think 2nd youngest but I could be mistaken)
Denver won the Natty by beating UM-Duluth 3-2 in the finals....two contrasting styles which usually results in a great contest, regardless of the sport....and this final didn't disappoint ....Denver's style is much like ours while UMD is a big, physical outfit....both teams were senior-dominated
Denver beat us 6-5 on their ice in November....on a Saturday night after we played a tough game vs Colorado College on Friday nite.... we were a much better team at the end of the season than we were in November so we're getting close
I think the Dream Team has schollie-room to bring in another forward to replace Kunin....we definitely need a scorer but we have a number of our underclassmen who need to step up...I'm a big Max Zimmer fan I think he'll make a big jump as a soph and will somewhat offset the scoring we lost with Kunin signing with the Wild
