great win! improved our record to only 3-3-3 but there are signs this VERY young team is gaining steam.... a win on the road against the #1 team in the nation has to help their confidence
Freshman Luke Kunin is our player to watch....he's probably a one-and-done because he's projected to be a 1st round draft choice in the next draft after after putting on a huge show in the USA Hockey All American prospects game in September.... he's easily the best talent we've had since Kyle Turris (also a high #1 draft choice who's doing very well in the NHL)
Freshman goalie Matt Jurusik is coming on strong too.... he's was a late addition to the team out of the NAHL after we lost freshman goalie Luke Opilka, a draft choice of the St Louis Blues....that was a weird situation; he was a super blue chip recruit who went to summer school & practiced with the team all summer then signed a pro contract before school started....
