I'm surprised at the number of fans calling for Coan. The guy is still in HS and we're already penciling him to replace the newly minted starter in Hornibrook? I can't help but be reminded of Indiana basketball fans who perpetually think that the next year haul will be better than the current years but their hopes are always dashed.
What happened to appreciating what we have right now? We have a redshirt freshman that has beaten out a former 4* senior with room to grow. Hornibrook is getting better and better with every start and clearly has the confidence of the head coach. He has great touch on the ball and is capable of throwing on time to the receivers, which is huge for a QB at this level. He has the potential to be one of our better QBs that have come through the program when it's all said and done.
