Given that Jon gave us hope this weekend to have 2 WR verbals, and it looks like they won't achieve that. Here are my questions, which may be leading questions, but hear me out.
1. Why turn O'Neil away unless you are 110% sure that Abbott and Mustafa would commit?
2. Knowing how recruiting goes, why NOT have all three on campus at the same time? Meaning, these are 17 year old kids and things are constantly in flux...ie increase your chances of getting at least one verbal.
3. If the answer to the above questions are "I don't know" Does it seem plausible that the coaches got O'Neil's transcripts and it was clear he's a no go?
4. Do you think the coaches had significant reason, say a silent verbal, to turn O'Neil away?
5. Did the coaches just plain screw up as they always do at UW?
