Carson Hinzman's comments about game day culture got me thinking. I've been to most big ten stadiums and have read up on them and have watched games obviously too. I know it's subjective and depends on winning vs. loosing seasons. . but year in and year out, i'd break the B1G into three tiers.
My top tier WI, OSU, MSU, NE, IA, PSU.
My 2nd tier is MI (sorry, a bunch of chardonnay drinkers), IL, MD, IN, MN,
an my 3rd tier is Rutgers, NU, Purdue (this one is definitely dependent on success).
Overall, I'd say our top tier competes with the best programs in any conference.
