Look we’re not over the hump and maybe this is another indication we never will be. However I’m going to remind you that we’re going to come out against EMU next week and probably win by 40 points. I mean I’d be surprised if they even score. The offense will look just fine.
I don’t think this Wisconsin team is any worse or better than any other year under PC. We’ll dominate teams without a pulse. This game just happened to be earlier in the year than it normally is for us. Normally we push around average teams till week 6-8. I’m not sure we even give up points against Penn St. If they don’t have Jahan Dotson who’s likely a 1st round pick. What other teams on the schedule have a guy like that? Maybe Notre Dame? I don’t think anyone can move the ball on us without a guy like that.
The positives for today are that the run game showed flashes and we’ll likely push around almost every other team we play outside of ND. The defense is legit and we’re still going to add Chenal to it. We’re not over the hump, I wish Graham was the guy, I wish we opened the play book. The sky however is not falling and we’re still going to win a lot of games this season. Penn State is a good team, unfortunate the loss comes how it did and in week 1.
