sorry for the clickbait headline this is actually is a recruiting story about the badgers and a probable violation. So over thanksgiving at my grandparents house we were talking about how the hell Maryland has not had a violation for getting some of they players they have gotten over the past few years in hoops and football. My grandpa chimes in and said well Wisconsin does it too. I look at him like what the hell would you know about it. Well we live in Kenosha and he and my grandma were friends with Alan Ameche and he said that he got a brand new car when he signed (or whatever they did then) with the badgers. I think the statute of limitations may be up so we are safe for this year. Pretty crazy to hear this was going on here way back in the 50’s.
