When they lengthened Augusta and other courses , people said they were Tiger=proofing them but the truth was, the new equipment and training methods had made many golf courses too short and it wasn't just Tiger overpowering them, all the long hitters were.
Now, all of a sudden after Bo and Bennett have some success, rule changes pop up to make each possession shorter and defensively make the faster players even faster, like carrying the ball and walking didn't already make them faster.
