One game may not be enough to be a trend, but Ohio State had given up 100 yards in total rushing only once all year, and had not allowed a 100 yard runner. Wisconsin gouged them for 236, and Clement ran for 164. That has me encouraged that we are making strides in our running game, although I'm still worried almost all of our success running (except for jet sweeps) was off tackle left. I thought Clement looked as good in this game as any other game he has played in....Meaningful carries vs a quality opponent. Ramcyck showed me some big time push that I had not seen from him in previous games, and the jet sweep was super successful. (Why we ever took this out as a signature play in our offense has me shaking my head)
Regardless I think if we can duplicate that rushing attack, combined with our defense, we will win out. I am more encouraged about this team now than I was after the Mich St, or LSU games.
