Obviously the OL was better, especially as the game wore on.
Badass is some center, he will play in the NFL, think with Van Lanen in there, we were a much better OL.
Horni disappointed me, he still is pretty damn slow moving in the pocket, if you rush him, he’s pretty helpless back there and Chryst knows it.

Why do we always just throw to one guy at a time.Sure there’s a better defender on one guy than another usually but why not a throw here or there to another WR or to Penniston ?
We are always predictable and that makes Horni’s deficiencies even worse.

AJ Taylor was very good today but still sometimes a bit of a body catcher who waits for the ball to get down to his waist, hands are amazingly improved though and hopefully getting better every week.

DLs are pretty good plugging the middle but not much help in the pass rush, Olivie and Lyles are two big tackles no doubt and Hennigsen a solid SDE , Along with Loudermilk but we must blitz the Linebackers and hopefully the Safeties sometimes too.

#17 is the real deal again but Man I’d love a watt type OLB Along with him Somebody a little more unblockable than Baun at this stage of his career.

We played way off the receivers today, bend but dont break, almost prevent and they had two , long ugly drives against us, we must improve on defense and let's hope JL makes the proper adjustments, don’t want a mediocre QB getting comfy and killing us.
Overall good win after still another slow start , we are clearly counter punchers under Chryst, with the coaching, so far always able to make proper adjustments after the other teams initial push.
Wish we could come out and start quicker every game.

Liked the look of Deal who looks big and strong and often a man among boys type now in his fifth season, Run a little lower Taiwan , behind those pads and you should have a huge season behind JT.
Nice surprise to see him get back with one last chance.

JL has those Corners playing decently for beginners, we saw how Cone made so many INTS in HS today, he has the knack and the good ball skills

return game In both kick offs and punt returns needs work.I think both Crook and Dunn can get the job done but maybe Crook should RS after four games, he’s pretty small, though tough, very Brooklyn!

I worry about QBs who can move, don’t think we can stop them easily unless we pull a Tackle and replace with an extra quick Linebacker type.

I really, really like both Erdmann and Steltzer two walk ons, I think can start for many, many teams.
Thought Ingold played a great game, blocking has improved and he ran better too.

I would take OSU and give 11 points if we were playing them in Indy, right now at least.
The gap hasn’t closed.
