it Has been reported, had the highest SPARQ score at his combine for any OL and possibly, the highest SPARQ score of any OL in the country this year.
Though I like Kasl very much as a player and think he can develop into a really, really good OT for us, I must call B.S. on this one.
Kasl , at 6'6 275, at that combine ran a 5.25 40 , which is pretty good for a kid that size who if he practiced his start like the track kids do, he could probably run around 5.0 which is great,
His power throw was 42 ish which was second best and also very good.
He jumped 28.5 or thereabouts which is pretty good and right in line with a guy his size.
BUT, he ran the 20 yd shuttle in 4.3 which is flat out Impossible in my opinion, had to have been a mistake somewhere along the line there, no way can he run a shuttle faster than our DB's verbals or even Sam Brodner who ran a 4.35 shuttle after running a 4.49 40.
If Kasl can actually run a 4.3 shuttle, I apologize, but just don't think it's possible, is it?
