I see PSU, OSU, MSU and Mich as schools who will always out recruit us and after STANFORD, I see us as pretty competitive for the better student athletes.
I look at this class (assuming we hold it together) listen to the interviews of the kids and i am very, very impressed. Heck Dallas Jeanty had serious offers form Harvard, Princeton, Yale etc.
Kids like him usually do very well for us, he should be at least as good as Marcus Trotter was, probably better.
COuld she look the other way and let us have two special cases every year, cases where there are extenuating circumstance and an argument can be made that it's a good kid and probably one who can muddle by with some extra help, yes, i think that makes some sense but we have the best class in the WEST this season if we hang on to these kids and they are ALL smart, articulate and will be good players and teammates.
Maybe we win 10 games BECAUSE of ADELE. LOL
Maybe the Schobert's and Erickson's and Ogunbowale's don't exist if we had more leeway in selecting players.
There's something special on these teams of late, an atmosphere of family and winning, much better than under early BB and later BA, good kids, getting along and pulling for each other and the academic requirements might just have something to do with that.
Again, maybe 1-2 reaches every season would be nice too.
