It was a really cool. It's a better concept than I thought. I drive up from Philly for the day. Next time, I'll make more of a weekend.
The games were a lot of fun and there were Badger fans galore even though we were the road teams in both games.
Having 2 games and the opportunity to "tailgate" in between was awesome. There were lots of people who really enjoyed themselves. The bars in Midtown were packed with Badgers.
The inaugural event had solid attendance. From RU and OSU fans. However, I think the experience fans had and overall Quality of the event will lead it to more comprehensive marketing campaign and attendance.
I'd love to get a Friday night basketball game added. I would have been really cool to get OSU a basketball game against Maryland or PSU on Friday too. I think that would boost attendance.
