from what I've read is he's too conservative, goes into prevent defenses and lays back too much, doesn't take Aranda type chances, adding him to a conservative leaning Coach like Chryst and Its bad karma.
We're getting better recruits on defense because of Arandas aggressive blitzing style, that's how talented kids want to play, if we go back to passive , bend but don't break defenses, you might still win games but even if it works fairly well, in the long term it won't be good for the program.
