Currently we're last in the B10 in rushing at 142.3 yards/game. We're 97th out of 128 teams in FBS. When was the last time we're ranked so low in running the ball? As a pro-style offense that thrives on run-heavy sets and passes off play action, it doesn't bode very well with our stud RB out for at least half the season if not more.

I can almost see us depending on the defense to keep the scores low when the offense inevitably sputters against better Ds. Winning the turnover battle, FG kicking and punting become indispensable as the margin of error is narrower than usual this year.
