ok, we have the following out: Starting center, starting wide receiver, starting running back, 2 back up OL's, 1 back up RB, our QB is going through concussion protocol, a previously starting MLB.

What's interesting to me is that most of these are on the offensive side of the ball. There are a couple of things going on here, but hard to pinpoint. Is the S&C program waaaaay out of balance? (probably not, because the injuries would be on both sides of the ball), are a lot of the guys too young and not physically mature? (probably some of the OL issues, but certainly not Volz). Are the practices too physical or was the fall camp too physical? who knows. The bottom line is that we have a HUGE amount of injuries and a program like ours doesn't have the depth of the big boys. If this continues, I see two more losses...but the D can keep us in all the games, so let's hope for the best, cheer on all the new guys and celebrate how hard they are working (instead of ripping them because they aren't any good...duh, that's why they are back ups and need development).
