So Fournette and McCaffrey set the precedent for skipping bowl games and not having it impact their draft status. Certainly this should trend.
But why only skip one game? Why not skip Weeks 12, 11, 10, etc., if your team is out of the playoff or divisional champ or NY6 bowl game races (depending on team's expectations)? Why did Fournette even play after LSU started their season 5-3? I would hate to see this happen, but just wonder where it will stop.
