congrats to our hockey recruit from Eau Claire Memorial for being named the Eau Claire Leader Telegram male athlete of the year....the 16 year old is playing for the US NTDP U17 team ...and doing very well, thank you.... article says he's a 2018 recruit

Chippewa Falls' coach calls Emberson "the best instate defenseman I've seen in 30 years of coaching" ....and that includes cats playing in the NHL like former Badger & Eau Claire native Jake McCabe

Emberson was a HUGE recruiting get last summer not only because he's elite but because we beat the Gophers for his verbal....and Emberson is a Gopher hockey legacy; his grandpa played for the Gophers
