Visiting from Rutgers

Hi guys. My friends and I are flying into Madison tomorrow evening and I was hoping to get some advice. We're all in our 30s or early 40s.
First, we're obviously not coming into Madison to be any type of hostile. Even if Rutgers had an ounce of ability on the field (they do not), that's not our style. We're staying at an airbnb on North Livingston, about 2.5 miles from Camp Randall. Currently, having never been there, our plan is to uber down to Breese Terrace around 7am to experience the Wisconsin tailgate scene. Possibly stop at Mickies Dairy Bar for a bite on the way. Does this seem like a good plan, or would you advise something else?
Last year, our trip was to Michigan and 3 years ago we went to Penn State. At both, we basically just walked their tailgate scene with a case of beer and people invited us into their tailgates to eat, drink, and talk. Can we expect something similar in Madison?
Thanks in advance. Really looking forward to the experience.
