He's going to be counted on next season but unfortunately, this is how I see him right now:

I actually think VItto can score points, think if he plays 25-30 minutes he will average double figures, he can shoot and wants to shoot and has a bit of a nose for scoring.

Unfortuntaely, the rest of his game projects very poorly. Unlike the current players who have exceptional hands, Vitto does NOT have a good handle, either, catching it, passing it, picking up loose balls, grabbing rebounds, he does not possess the feel for the game and hands necessary to be a BO RYAN type front court player.

His blocking and boxing out is terrible also, doesn't have the feel there either and sure thing rebounds are an adventure when he's in the game, as is switching on defense another place he doesn't excell in. His court awareness is just way behind for a player at a high DIv 1 level.

How much can he improve over this off season? He will probably be needed next season unless one of the true freshman is amazing.
Charlie Thomas is very young, would love to see him grow some over this summer! LOL
Illkainen has the skill set, to play early but doesn't appear to be overly athletic to me on the film, doesn't seem very springy like Dekker or even Happ is.Doesn't look like much of a jumper and looks more 6-8 than 6'9
