Re watched the game.
Illinois second possession they moved the ball pretty well, should have scored but missed wide open wr. Everything that happened on that drive was Ferguson’s fault. He should have got to the sideline on the big gain catch on that drive. Got blocked way too easy on QB keeper for yardage, it was his missed assignment that left wr wide open that should have been a TD.
Also with about 5:30 left in the half he missed a tackle for a loss on the qb that he should have had. Ended up being the big pass play to the sideline. Illinois got a field goal that drive.
Likely all plays that Dixon makes
Also, Taylor ran all over these guys before he got hurt would have been a monster game for him.
We are very good but not overly deep in defensive backfield. Need everyone healthy
