We had two All- BIG type players returning who played key roles on a national finalist team. Happ had been hyped all offseason, and has lived up to it.
I think most expected this to be a tourney team coming in. We certainly didn't play that way through the non-conference season.
What was the problem? Had Bo checked out? Nigel and Koenig weren't ready to lead? Young guys just needed time to adjust to the game?
I don't think Greg Gard is a miracle worker, but he is clearly a great in-season coach. Just looking for thoughts on what lead this team to underachieving so much early on.
