this weekend we want miami to knock out Notre Dame.... miami and clemson would likely play in ACC championship and one will knock out the other.... that leaves clemson or miami in playoff instead of Clemson AND notre dame.
Doesnt really matter who wins between Oklahoma and TCU, one will get put behind us after they lose. we want whoever loses this game to win the Big 12 championship game, which will likely be a re-match. that way both teams have 2 losses
I think we want michigan state to beat OSU.. MSU loses are both to ranked teams, and OSU loss hurts Oklahomas resume... plus I like our chances against MSU better than our chances against ohio state.
auburn to beat georgia because auburn has 2 losses already and likely wont make the SEC championship game... that would eliminate georgia if they lose to auburn and to alabama in the championship.... we dont want 2 SEC teams in the playoff.. georgia is notoriously over rated every year...
I always tell people that wisconsin IS what everyone thinks georgia should be in most seasons... we always end the season strong, go to conference championships, win bowl games (minus rose bowls which were still good competitive games we could have won.) Georgia usually falls on their face but is still ranked higher than us initially each year...
we obviously need to win and we need NW to keep winning... iowa likely wont be ranked if we beat them but we need NW to stay ranked....
In this scenario the finla 4 would be:
Alabama, Clemson, UW, washington (if they win out??)
if oklahoma beats TCU and wins big 12 in this scenerio it would be them instead of washington
