I get called out for being a UW homer by friends and family. I try to stay neutral, but I acknowledge bias sometimes creeps in to my decision making.
That said, I don't see any way UW can keep up with OSU on Saturday. They are a juggernaut. I feel like this is a game that we could actually play well in and still lose by 15-20.
BUT...if we were to pull it out, where would the upset rank in UW history? I don't ever remember feeling so overmatched going into a game, BUT, the game is borderline meaningless: even if we win, we are probably out of the playoffs and OSU is still in.
How does it compare to basketball over Kentucky? This would be a much bigger upset in my mind, but that game was clearly more meaningful.
What other considerations are out there? Just trying to drum up conversation during a week that is sure to draaaaggggg on.
