·The Badgers won their 14th consecutive meeting with Minnesota, extending the longest win streak in the history of the most-played rivalry in the FBS (127 games).

·The Badgers’ run of 14 straight wins represents UW’s longest win streak against any Big Ten opponent.

·Wisconsin improved its record vs. Minnesota to 60-59-8, taking the lead in the teams’ all-time series for the first time in the history of a rivalry that dates to 1890.

·The Badgers have won 17 of their last 18 trophy games vs. Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota, dating back to 2010.

·Wisconsin is 12-0 for the first time in school history and completed its first undefeated regular season since finishing 7-0 in 1912.

·The Badgers are the eighth Big Ten team in the modern era (since 1946) to put together a 12-0 start, joining Penn State (1994), Michigan (1997), Ohio State (2002, 2006, 2012, 2013) and Iowa (2015).

·UW’s 12 wins matches the school record for wins in a season, which was set with a 12-1 mark in 2006. This is the first time UW has won 12 games in the regular season.

·The Badgers have won 13 straight games, dating back to their victory in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 2, the longest active win streak in the nation.

·UW improved to 33-6 (.846) overall under third-year head coach Paul Chryst, including a 22-4 (.846) mark in Big Ten play.

·With records of 10-3, 11-3 and 12-0 in his first 3 seasons at the helm of his alma mater, Chryst joins Michigan’s Fielding Yost (1901-03) and Ohio State’s Urban Meyer (2012-14) as the only coaches in league history to win 10-plus games in each of their first 3 seasons.

·The Badgers improved to 13-1 (.929) in true road games under Paul Chryst. UW has won 8 straight road games, the nation’s third-longest active streak behind Oklahoma (16 entering Saturday) and Alabama (14).

·Wisconsin is 44-9 (.830) since the start of the 2014 season, trailing only Alabama (51-4, .927 entering Saturday), Clemson (47-6, .887 entering Saturday) and Ohio State (46-6, .885 entering Saturday) in wins and winning percentage among FBS programs in that span.

·Wisconsin won its 15th consecutive Big Ten game, extending the longest conference win streak in school history and matching the 9th-longest run in league history. The Badgers’ previous long streak was 9 straight conference games across the 2006 and 2007 seasons and the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

·UW extended its school record with a 9th Big Ten win of the season. The Badgers’ previous record was 7 conference wins in 2016, 2014, 2010, 2006, 1999 1998.

·The Badgers are the first Big Ten team to go 9-0 in league play and wrapped up their first undefeated conference slate since going 5-0 in Big Ten play in 1912. UW’s other unbeaten and untied league records came in 1897 (3-0-0), 1901 (2-0-0) and 1906 (3-0-0).

·The Badgers are 35-7 (.833) in conference play over the last 5 seasons (2013-17). Only Ohio State (39-3, .929) has a better league record over that span.

·UW owns a 21-3 mark against the Big Ten West Division since the league moved to its current divisional setup in 2014.

·Over the last 4 seasons, the Badgers are 19-2 in the month of November.

·Wisconsin scored its first shutout of a Big Ten opponent since holding Rutgers scoreless in a 37-0 win on Nov. 1, 2014.

·The Badgers recorded their first shutout of Minnesota since a 24-0 win in 1982. This is also the first time UW has shutout the Gophers in Minneapolis since 1922.

·Wisconsin held Minnesota to just 133 total yards, the third team that UW has held under 200 yards this season — BYU 192, Iowa 66.

·In limiting the Gophers to 93 yards rushing, UW has held 8 opponents under 100 yards on the ground — including 4 straight.

·UW piled up 456 yards of offense, the team’s 6th time going over 450 yards this season.

·Wisconsin is the only team in the nation to not trail in the fourth quarter of any game this season.

·Hornibrook recorded the third 3-touchdown game of his career (and of the season).

·Hornibrook’s 21 TD passes on the season is tied for the 3rd-highest single-season mark in UW history. He owns 30 career TD passes, which ranks 9th all-time at Wisconsin.

·In the red zone this season, Hornibrook has throw 17 touchdowns and just 1 INT.

·Taylor recorded his 9th 100-yard rushing game in 12 career games.
