* College Football Hall of Famer

• UW is 52-14 (.788) over the last 5 seasons, trailing only Alabama (64-5, .928), Clemson (60-7, .896 entering Saturday) and Ohio State (59-7, .894) in wins among FBS teams in that span.

• Over the last 5 seasons, Wisconsin is 17-2 in games played in the month of the November.

• The Badgers are 25-4 (.862) vs. the Big Ten West since the league moved to its current divisional setup in 2014.

• The Badgers have gone 34-8 (.810) in conference play over the last 5 seasons (2014-18). Only Ohio State (38-4, .905) has a better league record over that span.

• Overall, Wisconsin has won 20 of its last 23 league games, dating back to the 2016 season.

• The Badgers have won 13 straight meetings with Purdue, a win streak that dates to 2004 and is the longest by either team in a series that began in 1892.

• UW’s 13-game win streak vs. Purdue matches the Badgers’ 2nd-longest vs. a conference opponent all-time. Wisconsin also won 13 straight over Northwestern from 1972-84. The Badgers’ longest streak vs. a Big Ten opponent is its active run of 14 straight wins over Minnesota (2004-present).

• Wisconsin has won its last 8 trips to Ross-Ade Stadium, with its last setback in West Lafayette coming in 1997.

• The Badgers played their first overtime game since a 23-17 win over Nebraska at Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 29, 2016. Wisconsin has won 3 of its last 4 overtime games, dating back to the 2015 Outback Bowl.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Sophomore RB Jonathan Taylor carried 33 times for a career-high 321 yards, the 3rd-highest single-game total in school history. Only Melvin Gordon (408 vs. Nebraska on Nov. 15, 2014) and Ron Dayne (339 vs. Hawaii on Nov. 30, 1996) have had more.

• Taylor scored 3 touchdowns — his 4th 3-TD game of the season, including the game-winner on a 17-yard run in the game’s third overtime period.

• With 3,846, Taylor has broken fellow Badger Ron Dayne’s FBS record for combined rushing yards as a freshman and sophomore. Taylor, Dayne (3,566 yards, 1996-97) and Georgia’s Herschel Walker (3,507, 1980-81) are the only FBS players to tally 3,500 rushing yards in their first 2 seasons.

• Taylor recorded his 4th 200-yard game of the season. His 7 career 200-yard games are 2nd-most by a Wisconsin player, matching 2014 Heisman runner-up Melvin Gordon (7). Only 1999 Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne (14) has recorded more in a UW uniform.

• Taylor now owns 11 career games of 150-plus yards, including 6 this season.

• Taylor has topped the 100-yard rushing mark in 10 games this season. Only Melvin Gordon (12 in 2014) has had more in a season for the Badgers.

• Taylor has rushed for 100-plus yards 20 times in 25 career games. That matches P.J. Hill (2006-08) for the 5th-most 100-yard games by a Badger.

• Taylor recorded his 5th multiple-touchdown game of the season, and the 8th of his career.

• Sophomore QB Jack Coan made his 3rd career start, and 4th-consecutive appearance, going 16-for-24 for a career-high 206 yards and 2 touchdowns with no interceptions.

• Junior WR A.J. Taylor made 5 catches for 89 yards to surpass the 1,000-yard mark for his career. He owns 1,023 yards.

• Senior LG Michael Deiter made the 52nd start of his career, breaking the Badgers’ school record for career starts. Deiter has never missed a game in his career, making 22 starts at left guard, 16 at center and 14 at left tackle.
