Wisconsin Clinches Share of Big Ten Men’s Basketball Championship


BLOOMINGTON, Ind.
– The Wisconsin men's basketball team clinched a share of the 2019-20 Big Ten Championship after defeating Indiana, 60-56, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Saturday afternoon. The Badgers finished the season with a 14-6 record in Big Ten play en route to their 19th Big Ten Championship and first since 2015.

Wisconsin rallied from down nine with 10:04 left in the second half to secure the victory. Nate Reuvers tallied 17 points (7-of-14) while Micah Potter added 14 points (5-of-8). Potter rounded out his third double-double of the season with 11 rebounds. The Badgers finished the regular season 21-10 overall.

All-session and single-session tickets are available for the 2020 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament. All-session tickets range from $210 to $290 depending on seat location. Orders are limited to eight all-session tickets. Single-session ticket prices range from $25 to $100 depending on the session and seat location. Orders are also limited to eight tickets per session. Tickets are available at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office and Ticketmaster.com.

The 23rd Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament will be held March 11-15, 2020, with the city of Indianapolis playing host to the event for the 11th time. All 14 conference schools will participate in the tournament, which tips off Wednesday, March 11, with first-round games between the No. 12 and 13 seeds, and the No. 11 and 14 seeds. The No. 5-10 seeds will begin tournament play with second-round games on Thursday, March 12, while the four highest-seeded teams following regular-season play will earn first- and second-round byes and make their tournament debuts in the quarterfinal round on Friday, March 13. The semifinals will take place Saturday, March 14, with the championship game slated for Sunday, March 15.
