TEAM NOTES

Today's captains: Senior RB Dare Ogunbowale, junior ILB Jack Cichy and junior OL Ryan Ramczyk.

Today's attendance of 111,846 marks the second-largest crowd to attend a Badgers football game. A record 112,276 watched UW's last visit to Michigan Stadium on Nov. 20, 2010.

Including Saturday's 7-point loss at Michigan, each of Wisconsin's last 12 regular-season Big Ten losses have come by 7 or fewer points. That streak that dates back to a 34-24 loss at Michigan State in the 2010 season opener. The Badgers are 37-12 (.755) in conference play over that span.

Wisconsin's defense held Michigan to 14 points. The Wolverines entered Saturday's game averaging 52.0 points per game, fourth-best among FBS teams. Michigan's previous season low for points was 45 vs. Colorado on Sept. 17.

UW held Michigan to just 3-for-15 on third down (20.0%). The Wolverines entered the game ranked 7th in the FBS, converting 54.4% of third down opportunities.

The Badgers' defense has allowed a total of 3 touchdowns and 2 field goals in three match-ups against top-10 opponents this season.
