Wisconsin recently reached out to Harvard commit Kyle Klink from Middletown High School in Maryland. At this point, the 6-foot-4, 246-pound senior is currently committed to Harvard.
"I really like the Boston area and campus and my aunt lives really close," Klink told BadgerBlitz.com. "I couldn't turn down the education and opportunity there."
Staff member Matt Miller has started the recruiting process for the Badgers, who like Klink at tight end.
"Wisconsin said they loved me on film and were going to get back to me soon," Klink said. "So far really only Wisconsin and West Virginia have been in contact after my commitment."
Is Klink, who also had offers from Air Force, Albany, Brown, Columbia, Holy Cross and Marshall, among others, keeping his ear open to other schools?
"Yeah, absolutely," he said.
Should UW elect to seriously pursue another tight end in the 2018 class, it could allow current commit Cormac Sampson to begin at defensive end when he arrives on campus.
