Hate to speculate but if Wisconsin closes it's campus will they outright shut down spring practice as well? That would seem like a bit of an overreaction. Dr. Offitt, a Virology expert from the University of Pennsylvania, believes the general overall risk is similar to seasonal flu. Very dangerous for the elderly and immune deficient but less so for the general public. He also believes that once the virus is in the country there is minimal benefit to restrict travel. People need to practice good hygiene practices and routinely wash their hands.
Aside from closing campus, I am more concerned about losing valuable spring practice and allowing access to the strength and conditioning staff and facilities. If they close campus would they send everyone home?
