Man dies after jumping from downtown hotel

A man died after apparently jumping from a downtown hotel early Sunday.


The man jumped from an unknown height from the Palmer House hotel, authorities said, citing preliminary information.
Chicago police said they believe the death to be a suicide. The only details immediately available were that he had a tattoo that read "ArmyWildcat81". Anyone with further information, please notify Chicago police.

Trust me, I have a pretty twisted sense-of-humor, but people who have lost those to suicide (and even 9 1 1 - trapped in the buildings)......this isnt funny.
