Zach Showalter, more in the tank?

I think so.

Yes, the fact that Bronson is a bigger PG helps Zach, he's NOT 6'2, not close but he is a great leaper and holds his own as a rebounding guard who often can redirect or even block a shot close to the beasket.

He doesn't turn it over much, plays adequate often inspired defense, steals the ball, picks up the loose balls and frankly, IMO, is a better offensive player than he thinks he is.

Like Josh Gasser, when he does decide to drive the hoop, the result if often a basket or he gets fouled.He should make more of those mad dashes but stay under control and sometimes look to kick it back out for an open three.

His outside shot is better than advertised.

We've seen inconsistency but he can get hot and hit those open threes.

He needs to defer less and take it upon himself just a hair more, make himself a real threat.

He needs to dedicate himself, this off-season, work on taking his outside shot to the next level, become more offensive minded within the context of TEAM and he can be every bit as valuable as Josh Gasser was.
