Well it's almost over and there are a few loose ends to tie up, but overall, I think PC and his crew have put together a very good class, especially for a program with it's recruiting challenges which we all know about. It looks like they have some serious playmakers on offense with Taylor, Cehpus (down the road), Brodner, Lyles and Hescock. The two OL should be very good and the defensive side of the ball has a lot of really good football players in it. That is where the strength of the class lies. Although I'll have a different opinion if Rand and Pennamon leave as they are very good and integral to the class.

What I'm most impressed with is the recruiting effort as a staff and keeping things together late in the process by visiting committed recruits and tying up their pledges. Jones and Gilmore sure did their part this year and I hope they stay a few more years. Further, I really like the style PC brings to the table, he's not some carpetbagger from the south selling snakeoil, he is what he is and while he's not a professional orator, he must come across as very genuine and likeable in person. I like to call him the anti-recruiter. If he puts 4 classes like this together, the program will continue to be strong...whether or not they can "take it to the next" level will remain to be seen. But by rebuilding the damage to the wall around the state that GA left breached, he can do lots of good, along with the revival of the walkon program, I am bullish about the direction of this program.
