While of course the focus of the board (for me as well) is mostly basketball today, can't neglect this monster of a class that UW brought in for volleyball!
Julia Orzol: 6'0" outside hitter from Poland
Lauren Jardine: 6'2" outside hitter from Utah
Anna Smrek: 6'8"(!) middle blocker from Canada
Kelly Sheffield has clearly shown that he can recruit and coach at a high level. The '20 class featured three of the top 30 recruits in the country. This '21 class has the #15 overall player and HS 1st Team All-American OH (Jardine) -- the other two are very highly regarded but unranked because they only rank USA prospects. Another great two recruits are committed for '22 and UW already has a top '23 recruit. Wisconsin is going to be a perennial Top 5 team under Sheffield.
