As a Badger fan I would put myself somewhere between a historian and a fan. I know more then most but not as much as some. I am reading a book about Bob Knight. My jaw hit the floor when I read that WISCONSIN could have had Bob Knight and Bo Schembechler running their programs when both coaches were getting started. I think things have worked out pretty well for Bucky but I couldn't believe that when I read it.
For those of you that do not know, Bob Knight interviewed and liked everything about Wisconsin but did not accept the job on the spot. Wisconsin athletic department leaked that they had found their coach and it was going to be Bob Knight. Knight didn't like that they assumed he was going to be the coach, so he pulled his name.
