Although I haven’t read an article about the exact shoulder situation Davison is dealing with, it clearly looks like a dislocation. As someone that had the same injury and relapsed probably 7-10x, it’s not going to magically heal with rest and surgery will eventually be needed to fix the problem. I know Brad is tough but at some point the mental fear of it popping out could actually do a disservice to his production on the court. He will be fearful going up for a rebound, sticking his hand out in the passing lanes, going for a loose ball etc. These are all qualities that when healthy Davison would excel at. My guess is that after it pops out 2-3 more times he will shut it down and have the surgery that will allow him to be a big contributor in 2018-2019. Good news with this injury is that after surgery and rehab the chances of it popping out again are similar to a person that never had the injury in the first place.
