The D is struggling with covering and tackling in space. The Nebraska game was pretty obvious, 18 missed tackled according to PFF. We saw this against OSU and Illinois, and even against Iowa when they started throwing.
Orr and Baun made comments that Nebraska had a very good plan to attack them off of the bye week and exploit these weaknesses. Purdue comes in off a bye week and Brohm said that on tape the UW defense has been hurt when you spread them out and have a mobile QB.
