Got to sit in on a 30-minute shooting session with Happ this morning. His shot looks MUCH more fluid than it did last season, and he can thank Gary Close for that.
Happ was working on the three ball a lot, and while he definitely was not knocking them down with consistency, it was nice to see him extending his range a little bit.
I've stressed this before and I'll continue to do so, but Happ has an excellent work ethic. Absolutely first-class.
He's a redshirt freshman so while he's made great progress so far, there's no reason not to think he's going to be an excellent building block for this program in the years to come.
