I firmly believe the football team is on a downward trend much like hockey has been in. The similarities are too much to be coincidental. Hire the favorite son, granato/chryst, neither with much success as HC at any level. Both do very little to promote their programs, both locally and nationally.
Both hired by the previous AD whose hiring history has been horrible. Now the current AD, handpicked by his mentor, who handpicked the coaches of these two programs, will allow the FB program to bottom out like hockey before he has the cajones to make a change. They scapegoated a loyal hockey assistant coach instead of cleaning house like was truly warranted. It is so sad what is going on, so apparent to so many, yet invisible to those closest with the department.
ask yourself this, who is the face of the football program on a national level??

hope they do not wait too long to make the easy choice. Very few times in life is the easy choice the right one. But sure do hope they move on from PC and name JL head coach (assumingg he wants it), if not immediately talk to Lance L.
